There were rumors about the WeTab that they will launch a new tablet based on Meego. In the IFA 2010 WeTab demonstrated the new tablet with the customized Meego UI. The UI is awesome.

The NITDroid project is a process of porting Google Android to Nokia N900. The progress was very good from the start. The Developers  have demoed the Froyo in Nokia N900 before. Now they have tweaked the Froyo to make and get calls and data connectivity in Nokia N900.

Thinking of calling any contacts to call without touching your N900?? . We got a solution for that ThinkContacts is the answer. It is a mobile application that enables disabled people to make a phone call to a desired contact on their phone’s address book using their brain activity.

Think Contacts is the project by Forum Nokia to help the challenged individuals. This application connects with Neuro Mindset which transfer brain signals to Nokia N900.

ThinkContacts enables a motor disabled person to make a phone call to a desired contact by himself/herself. ThinkContacts was developed for mobile platforms. ThinkContacts displays a graphical user interface with the phone’s contacts name and avatar and allows the user to make a phone call to the desired contact. It was developed for the Maemo 5 platform using Qt. It was tested on a Nokia N900 device.

QCPUFrequency is a application for Nokia N900 by which you can adjust the CPU speed of the Nokia N900.

QCPUFrequency lets you to adjust lowest cpu speed during standby of N900 to save battery. This application is helpfull in increasing and decreasing the CPU speed on the GO. This application features a Nice UI too.

Note: The application settings get resetted every restart inorder to prevent damage to the device.

Red Flag Software Co., Ltd., a Linux-based software developer in China, showcased a tablet computer based on a customized MeeGo operating system at the 8th China International Software & Information Service Fair (CISIS) yesterday.

NPad, the first tablet PC  to run the MeeGo platform, looks like iPad developed by Apple. This gadget has been preinstalled with applications like reading, instant messaging (IM), music, video, and office software.

It have a 10.1-inch touch screen, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G functions, GPS, and an eight-hour battery backup. NPad is set to come into the market in the third quarter of the year.

Pelota is a widget for  Nokia N900 which displays live status of FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010. With this which we can know the current goal scores of match that happening . Every goal that happens, a beep and vibration indicates to you about a goal.

USB On The Go allows us to connect USB drives, pendrive, storage drives, other phones etc.. to the  Nokia N900. USB on the Go in N900 supports connection to USB drives with power consumption <200mA.

You can also usb hubs to connect big drives and devices. The application called h-e-n is used for enabling USB on the Go for Nokia N900. Its still under development, so you can expect errors.
