Pelota is a widget for Nokia N900 which displays live status of FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010. With this which we can know the current goal scores of match that happening . Every goal that happens, a beep and vibration indicates to you about a goal.

downloaded this last night, had to restart for it to appear in the widget list, then constantly went off announcing scores for the South Africa – Mexico game, 2 days before its taken place! Hopefully it’ll be better when the world cup commences!
download button does not do a thing.. hurry! only few days to go
In principal a fantastic widget. But suffering with the problem of recieving updates before games have even started. So it is constantly beeping, to let me know Argentina are beating Nigeria 4 – o, no it’s 5 – 0, oops no they’ve had 3 goals disallowed it’s now 2 – 0!
So I’ve disabled it, hopefully this is just because it’s still in a testing state and all will be okay, once the world cup has begun.
Download button doesn’t do anything for me, either. It adds the maemo extras and funlabs repositories but the app doesn’t show up.
