As we heard we might we seeing new OVI store very soon as tweeted by @ovibynokia. Nokia just released Twitter Widget for Nokia N900.
The twitter widget is a little widget which display your timeline in the homescreen of the Nokia N900. You can also update the timeline by tapping the little bird saying “Tap me to tweet“. You can get this app by searching twitter in Nokia N900 OVI store. Or Download it here

The widget works nicely, but it’s basically useless as tapping any tweet will just take you to m.twitter.com, same as the Facebook widget just takes you to facebook.com. I save me the time digging for a link/like button, whatever by just going to the websites themselves…
widget looks good but depends on microb and has a bug of adding passwords to dictionary

Well how does Nokia define “very soon”? Its been over a month now… are we still within the period of “very soon”?
I have been searching for this widget but can’t seem to find it..
