As we reported the N900′s leaked firmware PR1.2 have portrait mode all around the UI. Today Everythingblaxx discussed the portrait mode breifly in his site. The portrait mode can be activated in any applications such as conversations, music player, gallery etc etc…
Read after the break to know how to enable it.
It is assimple as pressing CTRL + Shift + R on the keyboard then sliding the device closed and rotating it to change the screen orientation.
Kyron aka Everythingblaxx tested Email and Conversations as well as 3rd party apps like grr and TweeGo. The portrait mode is not yet supported by all apps.

TweeGo, Ovi Maps and the Media Player will rotate but won’t reorient.
