[Updated]Meego V1.0 For Nokia N900 Coming Soon this month

As they promised Meego for N900 V1.0 will be released on May. We saw some nice status updates which confirms that it is just around the corner.

We also saw the Wiki Update on May Release.

As they are updating the Meego.com page for this big release. They are making the download pages so cool to get more attention for Meego.

Update: I just peeped into Meego Devel release its last status update says reducing kernel size so i am expecting Devel Release first:

In the above picture snapped from gitorious.org reveal several important modules are added to the N900 Meego V1.0.

The Picture shows

  • Bluetooth Driver,
  • Graphics Driver yeah graphics not boring commandline format thing now in new Meego :P ,
  • Audio drivers…

We also checked the Meego V1.0 source Link is is available for download. So lets hope the Meego V1.0 will be released anytime this month..

    I could not find any info about this neither at nokia or maemo
    but I hope it will be out soon and get all missed functions like video call voice, command, mms, portrait mode and others

      Libya i am sure they are building meego very carefully to bring a true mobile UI for Smartphones. The Meego later versions will be better than Maemo :D hope so.
