The PR 1.2 update for Nokia N900 just got released and guess what we found. An Maemo image for India.
We found the following image available for download from the Nokia tablets site where the PR 1.2 is available for download.
The file is RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1.004_PR_COMBINED_004_ARM.bin and has the description ” Latest Maemo 5 India release for Nokia N900″
This pretty much confirms the India launch of the device.
Question: The india release is an english version .. anyone can enlighten me please

Wow….N900 now ready for India. Of course it should be as silence is broken, Meego would not be commercially launched for N900. So Nokia don’t want to let its smartphone sales figures come down & since latest info on N900 will not help sales figures to move up in Europe & elsewhere, the better option is to follow the imprints of Apple I.e. Launch soon going to be obselete products in Indian Market.
Thank you Nokia. This time luckily I wasn’t expecting anything else.
